One of the many features that's unique about this stop on the tour is that I live with my work. My pottery studio is on the third floor of my home, my kiln is in the yard, I glaze outside or in the basement, I make jewelry in the spare bedroom, and I paint at my dining room table. I even have a kick wheel on my patio for those days when it's too beautiful to throw inside.

My house is my gallery, which will give you an excellent idea of how the pieces might look in your home.  If you like a piece, buy it right off the mantle or wall. Want a Roycroft signed vase, a unique wall piece, a set of custom carved mugs, statement jewelry, 1:12 scale miniatures, heart pots galore? I make every piece by hand--15 different styles of work--priced to fit just about anyone's budget. This is a great time to pick out that special gift, discuss custom work, buy a gift certificate for private lessons or pottery, schedule a pottery party for up to 12 people, or, if you are a local gift shop owner, select the pieces you'd like for your next wholesale order.

As a bonus during the Pittsburgh Pottery Tour, I'll have a hearty selection of sale pieces and experimental pots priced between $5 and $50, plus home-baked holiday treats, and hot cider. I hope you can make it!
